Dear Parents and Students: Welcome back to another exciting school year. I hope your summer was restful. Let me begin by introducing some changes for this year: Mr. Matt Emory will be the new Assistant Principal and Ms. Jennifer Hinckley will be taking over as our school Counselor. Our past administrators have moved to our new campus called La Paloma Academy-South located at Drexel and 12th. Both Mr. Emory and Ms. Hinckley are certified administrators with a wealth of experience and knowledge. They will be a great addition to our administrative team, so please stop by their offices and introduce yourself. We continue to have a full compliment of Art, Computer/Technology classes and Physical Education opportunities for our students and all Kindergarten classes will be introduced to conversational Spanish on Wednesdays. Our incredible team has been working hard on constructing brand new Art and Media classrooms, so please take a moment and look at those additions. Open House for all grades will be August 29, 2012 from 6:00 p.m - 8:00. Our school showed wonderful growth according to the Arizona Growth Model. I am so proud of the work our teachers have done and our kids that work to reach their potential each day. As always, thanks so much for your continued support and I look forward to seeing you soon!
